The .047uf caps are installed underneath the board as in
the picture opposite.
Look for the correct hole locations on the board and place
capacitor into position. You will then need to clip the extra
lead on the top side of the board – these caps are not
polarized so it does not matter which way they are installed
– although some people prefer to have the line on the cap
on the input signal side (see illustration opposite).
Here you can see the clipping off of the extra leads on the
.047uf film.
We have also installed the 2 .22uf caps into position on the
top of the board.
This completes the build of the L2 Phono Board.
It is now time to install the phono board into the Pre-
amplifier.
