REMOVING THE MOTOR CONTROL UNIT

WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
1.
Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2.
Turn off the water supply to the washer.
3.
Remove the top cover from the washer
(see page 4-2 for the procedure).
4.
Remove the rear panel (see page 4-13).

5.
Tilt the washer forward so you can access
the bottom of the washer.
6.
Remove the two T-20 Torx screws from
the motor control unit holder, then lower
the washer.

7.
Disconnect the 6-pin and 8-pin wire con-
nectors from the motor control unit, and
remove the control from the washer.
NOTE: Squeeze the locking tabs on the 6-
pin connector to release it from the board.
