Installing/removing main memory

Following table shows the mandatory population order.

With a dual channel configuration identical memory modules are to be used for
the individual population possibilities.
6.2 Installing/removing main memory
Ê Remove the side cover as described in
page 17.
Ê Remove the processor fan 2 as described in
processor fan 2" on page
Ê Remove the system fan as described in
on page 19.
Ê Remove the traverse with the memory air duct as described in
"Removing the memory air duct" on page
Ê Remove the processor fan 1 as described in
processor fan 1" on page
Ê Unpack the memory module.
