Regulatory Notices for Cardiovascular
Exercise Equipment
The regulatory information in this section applies to the
exercise equipment and its control console.
Safety Approvals for Cardiovascular Equipment
Precor equipment has been tested and found to comply with
the following applicable safety standards.
Cardiovascular Type Equipment:
Radio Frequency Interference (RFI)
This Precor exercise equipment conforms to the following
national standards defining acceptable limits for radio
frequency interference (RFI).
Federal Communications Commission, Part 15
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the
limits for a Class A digital device, pursuant to Part 15 of the
FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable
protection against harmful interference in a commercial
installation. The equipment generates, uses, and can radiate
radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in
accordance with the owner's manual instructions, can cause
harmful interference to radio communications.
Operation is subject to the following two conditions: (1) this
device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this
device must accept any interference received, including
interference that may cause undesired operation.
WARNING
CAN/CSA, IEC, EN 60335-1 (Household and similar
electrical appliances - Safety)
EN 957 (Stationary training equipment, class S/B
compliant equipment)
Per FCC rules, changes or modifications not
expressly approved by the manufacturer could
void the user's authority to operate the
equipment.
