CO-line access with specific MSN/DDI (line key)

It is determined here via which MSN/DDI of your telephone system an outgoing external call

should be created. As the MSNs/DDIs are assigned to certain external S0 connections, you

determine at the same time which port should be used for the telephone call. The LED

indicates the corresponding status:

❍ This MSN/DDI is being used for the telephone call, LED on

❍ Idle state, LED off

Pressing this key activates the hands-free mode and provides an external line for this out-

going phone number. Afterwards, the requested subscriber number can be dialled. As an

alternative, it is also possible to use this key after selecting an entry in the electronic tele-

phone book (see page 12, "dialling from the electronic telephone book"). When the hand-

set is lifted, the hands-free mode is not automatically activated.

❍ An incoming call for this MSN/DDI, LED blinks

Pressing this key activates the hands-free mode and the incoming call can be accepted.

A lifted handset does not automatically activate the hands-free mode.

This function also allows an easy identification of the phone number dialled by the caller,

that means, for example, a distinction between private and business calls is possible.

Pressing the functional key activates, for your system telephone, a direct call forwarding to the

programmed subscriber. Incoming calls are no longer signalled at your phone. The LED indicates

the corresponding status:

❍ Call forwarding is active, LED on

❍ Call forwarding is not active, LED off

By pressing the functional key, the function "call forwarding on no reply" to the programmed sub-

scriber is activated for your system telephone. Your telephone rings for 15 seconds before the

call is transferred to the destination number. The LED indicates the corresponding status:

❍ Call forwarding is active, LED on

❍ Call forwarding is not active, LED off

When the functional key is pressed, call forwarding on busy to the programmed subscriber is

activated for your system telephone. The LED indicates the corresponding status:

❍ Call forwarding is active, LED on

❍ Call forwarding is not active, LED off
