Assembly — V-Groove Type
1. The coil, pulley rim and the rotor and bearing assem­
bly (figure 28).
2. Loctite 601 or equivalent on the rim screw threads.
3. Screws. Do not tighten.
4. The assembly on the front head.
• Make sure the clutch coil term inals are aligned
correctly.

5. Clutch coil assem bly using J 26271-A and J 29886
6. Retaining ring.
POLY-GROOVE DRIVE
1. The coil assembly on the front head neck.
2. Rotor and bearing assembly on the front head.
3. Clutch coil assem bly using J 26271-A and J 29886
4. Retaining ring.

• Make sure the protrusions on the rear of the coil
align with the front head locator holes.

Tools Required:
J 26271-A Rotor and Bearing Installer
J 29886 Driver Handle
• Align the marks made at disassembly.
• Make sure the clutch coil term inals are aligned
correctly.
• Make sure the protrusions on the rear of the coil
align with the front head locator holes.
