2. New O-ring (62) to the adjuster plug (61) (K35
models).
3. Sleeves (32) and/or adjuster plug (61) to the carrier
case (29).

(figure 30).

• Remove the carrier case from J 36598.

. Carrier case halves. Do not use sealer at this time.

• K15-25 models: Use J 36599 (figure 28).
• K35 models: Use J 36599 for the right sleeve
(figure 28). Use J 36615 for the adjuster plug
(figure 29).
• Place the differential assem bly into the carrier
case half which contains the pinion gear.
• Turn the left sleeve (32) (K15-25 models) or
a d ju s te r plug (61) (K35 m odels) in until
backlash is felt between the ring and pinion.
• K15-25 models: Use J 36599 (figure 28).
• K35 models: Use J 36615 (figure 29).
• If the carrier halves do not make complete
contact, back out the right sleeve (32). Use
J 36599 (figure 28).
