• After selecting the shoe size, the m atched
com bination of the shoe disc to the rear ball
spherical cavity in the piston m ust be kept in
th e p ro per relationship d uring d is a s s e m b ly
after perform ing the gaging operation and the
final assem b ly of the internal m ech an ism .
5. R e p e a t the gaging procedure for pistons Nos. 2 and
3.

. M ount a dial indicator on the ed g e of J 9 3 9 7 with
J 8001.
7. Position the dial indicator on the rear of the shaft
(39) and adjust to zero (figure 34).
