Troubleshooting

Before calling your dealer or service center for assistance, check the items below once again.
- Make sure you have properly connected the projector to peripheral equipment.
- Make sure all equipment is connected to the AC outlet and the power is turned on.
- If the projector does not project an image when it is connected to a PC, restart the PC.
Problems
No power
No initial displaying
Initial displaying is inconsistent
with factory defaults

– Solutions
- Plug the power cord of the projector into the AC power outlet.
- Check whether the power indicator turns red.
- Only when the power indicator turns red then you can power on the
projector again.
- Check the Warning Temp indicator. If it is blinking red, you can't
power on.(P58)
- Check the projection lamp.(P61)
- Unlock the "key lock" function.(P55)
- Make sure both Display and count-down functions are enabled.(P50,P53)
- Make sure the item Default or Off is not selected in Logo select.(P51)
- Adjust the search function of input source properly.
-This icon warns that the filter needs to be replaced.
-This icon indicates the replacement of lamp or warns for the
filter.
- Adjust the focus.
- Set a more proper projection distance.
- Check whether the lens needs to be cleaned.
- When moved from a environment with low temperature to
the one with higher temperature, water will be condensed
on the lens. If so, you have to wait till the condensed water
disappears.
- Check the function of "ceiling/rear".(P52)
- Check the function of "ceiling".
- Check whether the contrast or brightness is adjusted correctly.(P40,46)
- Check whether the image mode is properly selected.(P39,45)
- Check the function of lamp brightness adjusting.(P54)
- Check the lamp replace indicator. If the indicator is illuminated, it means
the service life of the lamp is over. You should replace the lamp with a
new one of the same model immediately.
- Check the connection between PC or video equipment with the projector.
- Check whether the signal from PC is correct. If connected to
certain laptops, the settings of their monitors need to be
changed.You can refer to the operating instructions of the PC
for such modification.
- Images can show up only about 20 seconds after the projector
is powered on.
- Check the input signal, color system, video system or PC
system mode.
- Make sure that the temperature doesn't exceed the permitted
operating temperature (41˚F–95˚F [5˚C–35˚C]).
- If blank function is enabled, no image will appear on
the screen. You can then press BLANK key or other keys.(P33)
