IDAS OPERATION
D Direct ID input
Dependng on the pre-settng, you can nput the desred ID
drectly. The optonal HM-152T s requred for ths operaton.
q After enterng the Indvdual or Talkgroup ID selecton
mode wth pushng [Digital Button], push the approprate
dgt key, [0] to [9], to nput the desred ID (up to 5 dgts).
• Push [M] to delete an nput dgt.

w After nputtng, push [PTT] to transmt to the staton or talk-
group.

D Transmitting an Emergency Call
When [Emergency] (descrbed n the nstructon manual) s
pushed and held for the specfied tme perod, the emergency
sgnal (dgtal command) s transmtted once or repeatedly on
the emergency channel. A repeat emergency sgnal s auto-
matcally transmtted untl t receves the acknowledgement
sgnal. When no emergency channel s specfied, the sgnal s
transmtted on the prevously selected channel.
Indvdual or Talkgroup call types of emergency calls can be
pre-fixed. If the call type s not pre-fixed, the default or se-
lected call type s used.
Ths functon s usable n transcevers whose revson number
s 2.9 or later. Ask your dealer for detals.
If you want to cancel the emergency call, push and hold the
key agan before transmttng the call.
The emergency call can be transmtted wthout a beep ems-
son, and the LCD ndcaton dependng on the pre-settng.
The transcever can also be programmed to keep the mcro-
phone open durng an emergency call, allowng montorng of
the stuaton.
