■ Transmitting a call
D Group call
q Push [CH Up] or [CH Down] to select a channel or talk
group.
w Whle pushng and holdng [PTT], speak nto the mcro-
phone at a normal voce level after a beep s emtted.
• If an error beep s emtted, release [PTT]. After a whle, repeat
step w.
• The beep can be turned OFF n User set mode.
D Selective call (DTMF call)
q Push [CH Up] or [CH Down] to select a channel or talk
group.
w Push [DTMF Autodial]— a DTMF encode channel ap-
pears.
e Push [CH Up] or [CH Down] to select the desred DTMF
encode channel.
r Push [PTT] to transmt the selected DTMF code n the
selected DTMF channel.
• Push [DTMF Autodial] to cancel the DTMF transmsson.
D Phone call
q Select the phone channel.
• " " appears.
w Push [Phone] (or push [PTT]).
• " " blnks.
