Altering the stitch density
(e.g. when using fine or thick threads)
· open Layout 2 screen
· touch the left field
· the stitch density will be increased
(more stitches)
· touch the right field
· the stitch density will be reduced
(fewer stitches)
· the center field shows the adjust-
ment in percent
· touch the center to return the motif
to its basic state (100%)
· only the motif frame is visible when
the density has been adjusted
· the adjustment remains active until
a new motif is selected

Motifs and functions
Retrieving the motif
· after adjusting, the motif can be
retrieved
· touch "show"
· hourglass blinks to the right of the
"show" symbol
· this indicates that the motif is being
redeveloped
· the hourglass disappears and the
motif appears in its frame
· touch "ok" to confirm and return to
the sewing screen
· the motif always appears in its ori-
ginal form (unaltered) in the sewing
screen
· amendments take place during the
screen change
· as the motif is recalculated, the
percentage of complete alterations
appears in place of the embroidery
time
