Showing Content from a Document Camera

Working with Directory and Contact Entries

18
Depending on how your system is configured, you may be able to show
different types of information to other sites in a call, such as through a
document camera.
Before the call begins:
Make sure the document camera is connected and powered on. Refer to
the setup sheet that came with your system.
Position your document or object on the document camera or insert.
To start showing a document or object in a call:
1
From the Home screen or Call screen, touch Show Content.
2
Touch a content source.
The icon for the video source moves up slightly on the screen, and the
content is shown to the call participants.
3
From the menu, select Start Content.
4
Select a content source.
To stop showing a document or object in a call:
>> From the Content screen, touch the content source to stop showing it.
The icon for the video source moves down on the screen, and the content
is no longer shown to the call participants.
The directory on your RealPresence Group system stores dialing information
that helps you make calls quickly and easily. When a site listed in the directory
calls your system, the system displays the name on the screen when the call
comes in. If a site that calls you is not listed in the directory, you may be
prompted to save the contact information in the directory when the call ends.
If your system is registered with a Global Directory Server, you can see
information about other active sites that are registered with the same Global
Directory Server. These entries are stored on the Global Directory Server, and
you cannot edit them.
