Action
The fuser roller does not rotate smoothly.
Check for worn or missing gears.
The fuser entrance guide is dirty, damaged, or
clogged with toner. Clean the guide.
The fuser separation guide could be dirty,
damaged, or clogged with toner. Clean the
guide.
The fuser separation guide could be worn or
damaged. Replace the guide (18-10).
The upper or lower fuser roller could be
deformed or damaged. Replace deformed or
damaged rollers (18-20, 18-21).
The roller pressure may not be correct.
Replace the fuser (18-1).
The fuser delivery sensor arm may not move
smoothly or is damaged. Adjust the arm so
that it moves smoothly. If it is damaged,
replace it (18-22).
The fuser delivery roller is worn. Replace the
fixing unit delivery roller (18-18).
The fuser delivery roller does not rotate
smoothly. Check for worn or missing gears.
The face-down delivery roller does not rotate
smoothly. Check for worn or missing gears
(17-15).
