Action
The EP cartridge could be defective. Replace
it if necessary.
The fuser upper roller could be dirty,
deformed, or worn. Replace the fuser upper
roller (18-20).
Action
Check the static charge eliminator (12-8) for dirt.
Clean as necessary.
The static charge eliminator contact (7-2) of
the high-voltage power supply is not making a
good connection with the static charge elimi-
nator contact. If the contacts are dirty, clean
them. If the problem continues after cleaning,
or parts are deformed or damaged, replace
them.
The transfer charging roller could be deformed
or has deteriorated. The transfer charging
roller is a supply item, replaced by the cus-
tomer.
The high-voltage power supply board could be
defective. Replace the high-voltage power
supply (Asm. 7).
