scan youi wish to perform.

Start channel resp. Start frequency (only in the
case of a frequency or channel scan). Please note
that the figure given for the start channel resp. the
start frequency must be lower than that for the stop
channel resp. stop frequency.

Use the arrow keys left/right to select the start
channel, or use the numeric keys to enter the start
frequency (only in the case of a frequency or channel
scan).

Use the arrow keys up/down to mark the field

as described above to enter the stop channel resp.

Below the line Symbol rates you will see a list of the sym-
bol rates which are covered when a scan is carried out. In
order to include additional symbol rates in a scan, you can
adjust the list as follows:

To add new symbol rates, use the arrow keys
up/down to select the line Symbol rates New
and confirm by pressing OK (only in the case of a fre-
quency or channel scan).

Now use the numeric keys to enter a new symbol-
rate, and confirm this by pressing OK (only in the
case of a frequency or channel scan).
The new symbol rate entered will be added at the end
of the list.

To delete the symbol rate shown at the end of the list,
use the arrow keys up/down to select the line
Delete then press OK (only in the case of a frequen-
cy or channel scan).
In the line Scan mode you can decide whether you
wish to scan only for unencrypted programmes, or
whether you want to include encrypted programmes
as well.
>
To do this, use the arrow keys up/down to mark
the line Scan mode, then press OK to decide whet-
her you wish to scan only for unencrypted program-
mes (Only free) or whether you also wish to scan for
encrypted programmes (All).
>
Press the red function key Start scan to start the
programme scan. The scan will commence. Please
note any additional messages displayed on the screen.
