During a call

Using call waiting (second call)

You can be reached by a caller even if you are already
conducting a call. The call waiting tone signals a second
call.
You can ignore or accept the second call.
When you accept the waiting call, you can either end
the first call or place it on hold and resume the call later
on.
You can block the second call or the signal tone
(
page 71).
Prerequisite: You are conducting a call and hear the
camp-on tone (approximately every six seconds).
Ending the first call and answering the second call

Replace the handset. Your telephone rings.
Pay attention to the notes on voice encryption

Answer the second call. Lift the handset.
Placing the first call "on hold" and answering the
second call
Select and confirm the option shown.

You are immediately connected to the second caller.
The first party is placed on hold.
Ending the second call and resuming the first one
Confirm.
