Used diagnostic code No. 10 (oil temperature sensor)
Inspection operation item and probable cause Operation item and countermeasure
1.Installed state of sensor
2.Open or short circuit in wiring harness or
sub lead.
3.Connected state of connector
Inspect the coupler for any pins that may
have pulled out.
Check the locking condition of the coupler.
4.Defective oil temperature sensor.
Code No. 28
Used diagnostic code No. 11 (engine temperature sensor)

Inspect the coupler for any pins that may
have pulled out.
Check the locking condition of the coupler.
4.Defective engine temperature sensor.
FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM
Symptom Open or short circuit is detected from the oil temperature sensor.
Check the installed area for looseness or
pinching.
Repair or replace if there is an open or short
circuit.
Main wiring harness
Black/Blue - Black/Blue
White - White
If there is a malfunction, repair it and connect it
securely.
Oil temperature sensor coupler
Main wiring harness ECU coupler
Replace if defective.
Refer to "FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM" in
chapter 7.
Symptom Open or short circuit is detected from the engine temperature sensor.
Check the installed area for looseness or
pinching.
Repair or replace if there is an open or short
circuit.
Main wiring harness
Black - Black
Brown - Brown
If there is a malfunction, repair it and connect it
securely.
Engine temperature sensor coupler
Main wiring harness ECU coupler
Replace if defective.
Refer to "FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM" in
chapter 7.
