Selecting the Type of Telephone Line

Sets the type of telephone line that is connected to this machine.
If you are not sure what type of telephone line you have, check with your local
telephone company. To operate the fax functions, you must know if the machine is
connected to a tone or rotary pulse line. This machine can be set to operate with
either type of telephone line.
If this setting is incorrect, you will be unable to communicate with other machines.
Be sure to check the type of telephone line that you are using, and make the correct
setting.
Use this procedure to witch the fax setup between the tone and pulse dialing.
NOTE
The default setting is 'TOUCH TONE'.
