Washer fluid level switch , replacing
Washer fluid level switch is mounted in the fluid reservo ir,
near the bottom of the container.
NOTE -
Check wire leads at switch for worn insulation and cor-
rosion. Check etectncst contects in harness connector
for corrosion.
1. Open hood or tailgate , as applicable.
2. On Touring models. remove right rear trim panel.
3. Remove reservoir retaining screw(s). Loosen reservoir
from mount and pull up slightly to acces s washer fluid
level switch.

Unplug harness connectors for washer fluid level
switch and pump.
CAUTION-
Be careful when pulling harness connector off
washer ffuid pump. The pump can eaSIly puff out
of the rubber grommet resulting in spilled washer
ffuid.
5.
Empty washer fluid reservoir.
6. Pull fluid level switch out from rubber grommet. See
Fig. 23.

7. Install new switch into reservoir.
