the
ABS
pulse
sensor
from the brake
caliper
and unclip
the
sensor's
wiring
from
the trailing
arm.

Disconnect the stabilizer bar
link
from the
trailing
arm.

connecting
link mounting
bolt from
the
trailing
arm.

Disconnect the rear strut
lower
mounting
bolt.
Pull the
strut away from the trailing
arm.

Remove the
two
trailing arm
throug h·bolts and nuts
and remove
the
trailing
arm from the car. See
Fig.

nal

from
the
connecting link.
then
loosen
the
other end of
the
arm and swing
it
out of the
way.

Installation
is the
reverse of removal.
Always use new
self-
locking
nuts.
When
installing
the trailing
arm mounting
bolts.
install the
inner
bolt
nrst.
Tighten the
mounting
bolts
to
the final
tightening torque
with the car on the ground
and loaded
as
specified under Ride
Height.
Bleed the brake system as
de-
scribed
in
340
Brakes.

the trailing
arm
is being
replaced.
trans fer
the
attached
brake
system components to
the
new
arm
as
described
in
340
Brakes
and install a new
wheel bearing
as
described
earlier
under
Rear Wheel
Bearings.
