6. Remove regulator assembly from door.
7. Unbolt power window motor from rear of regulator.
Installation is the reverse of remova l. If necessary, adjust
door window as described later.
Tightening Torque
• Window regulator to door 9 Nm (80 in-Ib)
Door windows, adjusting
This procedure applies to both front and rear windows.
Whenever the window regulator is removed, the window
adjustment should be checked. The glass should contact the
top of the window squarely and should seat agai nst the win-
dow seal uniformly.
NOTE -
II the window
seal does not contact the door gla ss uni-
formly. wind noise will result.
1. Remove interior trim panel. See 411 Doors.
2. Adjust window to window frame by repositioning sup-
port bracket. See Fig. 10.
