(4) TRANSPORT section: Start, stop and restart playback, activate record and skip bars
while playing, simply by pressing the dedicated buttons in the transport area of the MA-

(5) PADS section: Access the various modes of MASCHINE using the vertical row of buttons
on the left-hand side of this section. By pressing any of the 16 pads you will hear the cor-

CONTROL Section

CONTROL section overview
(1) CONTROL mode/MIDI button: Press
at anytime to return to the default mode of
CONTROL
MASCHINE. In this mode, each pad represents a Sound which can be played live and re-
corded into the internal sequencer or your DAW (Digital Audio Workstation). At the same
time, Control mode provides instant access to all Sound, Group and Master parameters via
the buttons and knobs. You can also use the
button to access MIDI mode by
