Setting up the remote connection

To configure and manage the BladeCenter T unit and blade servers, you must first
set up the remote connection through an Ethernet port on the LAN module. The
LAN module is on the rear of the BladeCenter T unit at the top-right side.

Cabling the Ethernet port

You can connect to an Ethernet port directly from a personal computer (PC), or
you can make the connection through an Ethernet switch.
Ethernet port 1 on the LAN module is driven by management module 1, and
Ethernet port 2 of the LAN module is driven by management module 2.
