If the dryer stops, the status lights flash, the signal beeps and a code is displayed, an error has occurred. Press
CANCEL. Consult the Error Code Chart below or the "Avoid Service Checklist" in the Owner's Guide for the possible
cause and solution. Make necessary corrections, then select a cycle and press START. If the dryer stops, the
status lights flash again, the beeping continues and the code reappears, please contact service for assistance.

4 beeps/E4A Dryer runs to long
9 beeps/E9E Line voltage problem.
6 beeps/E68 Push button does
not function.

Low voltage.

Possible Causes

Solutions
Remove lint; wash lint
filter to remove the
softener sheet residue.
Clean out ventilation system.
Reduce load size.
Press Cancel.
Press buttons lightly and
release. Disengage button.
