    Introduction LCD Video Monitor The TAMUZ GOLDEN EAGLE series is a LCD monitor series with active TFT displays, designed as a rack mountable or desktop unit for digital HD and/or SD video applications in studio or field produc- tion environment. It covers a wide horizontal and vertical viewing angle at its best.

    Differences in the series To include various custom features, multiple I/O modules are integrated to debut the GOLDEN EAG- LE series. All types based on the unique Eagle or Falcon broadcast interface from TAMUZ. GOLDEN EAGLE Features The GOLDEN EAGLE series is equipped with a selected 4:3 or wide screen TFT panel from NEC, AUO, ID-tech, LG-Philips, CMO, Sharp or Samsung production line.

    Wide Screen Format Among the TAMUZ GOLDEN EAGLE series there are LCD monitors equipped with a wide screen ac- tive TFT display, developed to display 16:9 wide screen videos with a full screen image without any loss.

    Note: If you use the HCM 1xx GOLDEN EAGLE series monitor in a real full screen mode for 16:9 sources, the aspect ratio of the displayed image is correct! Some sources don't produce a real 16:9 signal. The TAMUZ HCM 1xx GOLDEN EAGLE series is able to handle different type of signals, see table be- low. Format...

    General Safety Instructions Limitation of the product The LCD technology itself and some LCD panels built-in the TAMUZ GOLDEN EAGLE HCM 1xx se- ries have limitations which the user have to understand and accept. The user must accept that it is necessary to avoid condensation of water within the GOLDEN EAGLE series.
