10. AMI BIOS Configuration
10.3.2. IDE Configuration
This field can be use to select options for the IDE Configuration settings.
ATA/IDE Configuration
10.3.2.1.
Available settings are: Enhanced, Compatible and Disabled.
If this option is set to Enhanced is available an additional option:
[Configure SATA Channels]
Available settings are: Before PATA and Behind PATA.
Legacy IDE Channels
10.3.2.2.
Available settings are: SATA Pri, PATA Sec, PATA Pri, SATA Sec, PATA Only and SATA-Only.
Hard Disk Write Protect
10.3.2.3.
This option allows you to enable or disable the device write protection. This will be effective only if the device is accessed
through BIOS.
Available settings: Enabled and Disabled.
