6 Maintenance

6.1 Cleaning and checking

CAUTION
Risk of injury from needle and moving parts
Only maintain the sewing machine when it is
switched off.
WARNING
Risk of injury from flying particles.
Cleaning with compressed air can cause injuries to
the eyes or respiratory organs.
NEVER blow particles towards other persons.
The maintenance work must be performed according to the
prescribed maintenance intervals.
Shorter maintenance intervals may be required if sewing very fluffy
material.
A clean sewing machine provides protection from faults.
