Set mode s used to change the condtons of transcever's
functons: Beep tone functon, Prorty scan functon
resume tmer , Auto scan functon

functon* and Nose detecton functon.
* Appears only when the optonal battery case s attached; not aval-
able wth German verson dependng on the pre-settng.
