■ Setting TAG channels

For more effcent scannng, add the desred channels as
TAG channels or clear TAG for unwanted channels.
Channels that are not tagged wll be skpped durng scan-
nng. TAG channels can be assgned to each channel group
(U.S.A., Internatonal and ATIS) ndependently.
q Push and hold [CH] for 1 sec. once or twce to select the
desred channel group.
w Select the desred channel to be set as a TAG channel.
e Push and hold [FAV TAG] for 1 sec. to set the dsplayed
channel as a TAG channel.
• " " appears on the dsplay.
r To cancel TAG channel settng, push and hold [FAV TAG] for
1 sec.
• " " dsappears.
✔ Clearing (or setting) all tagged channels
Whle pushng and holdng [FAV TAG], turn power ON to
clear all TAG channels n the selected channel group.
• Repeat above procedure to set all channels as TAG channels
(when no TAG channel has been set.)

Set the prorty scan functon, scan resume tmer and auto
scan functon n advance, usng the set mode. (p. 18)
q Push and hold [CH] for 1 sec. once or twce to select the
desred channel group.
w Push [SCAN DUAL] to start prorty or normal scan.
• "SCAN" blnks n the dsplay.
• "16" appears on the sub channel readout durng prorty scan.
• When a sgnal s receved, scan pauses untl the sgnal dsap-
pears or resumes after pausng 5 sec. accordng to the set
mode settng.
• Push [Y]/[Z] to check whch channels have been set as TAG
channels, change the scannng drecton or resume the scan
manually.
e To stop the scan, push [SCAN DUAL].
• "SCAN" dsappears.
• Pushng [PTT], [16 C], [CH] or [FAV TAG] also stops the scan.
