D Dual/Tri-watch function

Ths tem can be set as Dualwatch or Tr-watch. (p. 16)

D Monitor key action
The montor key opens the squelch temporarly. Ths tem sets
the key acton.
• Pu (PUSH) : The montor functon s actvated by pushng and
holdng [VOL/SQL MONI] for 1 sec. The squelch
opens whle holdng down the key.
• Ho (HOLD) : The montor functon s actvated by pushng and
holdng [VOL/SQL MONI] for 1 sec. The squelch
stays open untl any key s pushed.

Ths functon s convenent for nght-tme operaton. The
backlght can be selected from ON and OFF.
• The backlght s automatcally actvated when any key except for
[PTT] s pushed.
• The backlght s automatcally turned OFF after 5 sec. of nactvty.

D LCD contrast setting
Set the LCD contrast level from Hgh contrast and Low con-
trast.
The LCD contrast level makes no dfference for ndoor use.
