Setting the Minimum Number of Motion Detection Blocks
You can adjust the minimum number of detection blocks that must be activated to
trigger a motion alarm. Daytime and Nighttime can be set independently.
Highlight a field under the Min. Blocks heading and press
- Min. Blocks screen appears.
For greater sensitivity, select a smaller number of blocks. A smaller number means that
fewer detection blocks need to be triggered for motion detection.
Viewing How the DVR Reacts to Motion
Zone View allows you to observe how the DVR reacts to motion. When in the motion
viewing mode, any detected motion within the zone displays in red.
Highlight the box beside Zone View, and press
Ignoring Excessive Motion
You can control excessive event logging and remote notification of motions detected
after the motion dwell time by adjusting the motion ignoring dwell intervals.
