Viewing Live Video from Covert Cameras

If a camera is set up as Covert 1 in the Camera setup screen (see Settings Tab), then
that camera does not display unless a user with Covert Camera View authority logs into
the system. However the camera title and status icons do display on the monitor.
If a camera is set up as Covert 2 in the Camera setup screen (Settings tab), then that
camera appears to be Off unless a user with Covert Camera View authority logs into the
system. The camera title will be grayed out and status icons will not be displayed on the
monitor.
A user who has Covert Camera View authority and has logged into the system, can view
video from cameras set to Covert 1 or Covert 2, including the camera titles and status
icons.

Using Pan, Tilt, and Zoom During Live Monitoring

The DVR controls cameras with Pan, Tilt, and Zoom (PTZ) capabilities. Users who have
PTZ Control authority who have logged into the system can control PTZ cameras.
To enter the PTZ mode while in the full-screen mode of the desired camera, press
the PTZ button on the front panel.
