Description
Set how the system responds to a motion event. Options are:
Auto. Motion event automatically resets immediately after the event.
Timed. Motion event resets after the time specified in the Reset Time field.
The time the system waits before it resets the event inputs after a motion event is
detected. The Reset Type field must first be set to Timed.
Enable or disable whether the HRDVS continues to detect when there is no motion.
Enable or disable whether the HRDVS records audio.
Enable or disable whether the HRDVS beeps when it detects a motion event.
Enable or disable whether the HRDVS triggers the alarm output contact (to activate
a device you have connected to the alarm output contact such as an external light
or bell). The Alarm LED illuminates on the front panel when a motion event is
triggered.
Enable motion event recording for one of 16 cameras. The number of cameras that
you can select depends on your HRDVS model:
HRDVS1 - 1 camera
HRDVS4 - 4 cameras
HRDVS8 - 8 cameras
HRDVS16 - 16 cameras
Opens the Motion Zone Setup screen.

Assign screen areas to be used for motion detection (up to four independent areas for
up to four connected cameras) on the Motion Zone Setup screen. On the Motion
Events screen, select Motion Zone Setup.

Use the following table to set the initial reference for each detecting camera.
Note
When you use the motion detection function, a reference image is saved to
provide a background picture for motion detection. This reference image
updates at regular intervals so that such things as gradually changing lighting
conditions does not trigger a motion detection alarm.
