Onscreen Messages
During normal operation, the following messages may appear on-screen.
Message
No input is detected.
Please change the lamp.
There are (x) hours of lamp life remaining.
The unit will shut off in 40 minutes.
There are (x) hours of lamp life remaining.
The unit will shut off in 5 minutes.

Cause
The input source is not active.
A signal must be present
before you can select the
input source.
The cables from the input
source aren't correctly
connected or are faulty.
The input configuration was
changed by another user.
The input device (e.g., a
computer, DVD player, etc.) is
not turned on.
The remote control isn't
facing the remote control
sensor.
The remote control is too far
from the sensor in the
projector base.
There's an obstruction
between the remote control
and the projector base.
The remote control's batteries
are exhausted or inserted
incorrectly.

Solution
Connect an active input
source to system.
Securely connect the cables
from the input sources, or
replace the cables.
Reconfigure the inputs.
Turn on the input source.
Point the remote control
toward the remote control
sensor in the projector base.
Operate the remote control
within five meters of the
projector base.
Remove the obstacle.
Insert fresh batteries or make
sure the batteries are inserted
correctly.
Meaning
The projector isn't receiving a signal from an
external source. Check the cable connections and
verify that the external source is on and working.
The lamp has had 1800–1899 hours of use and
needs to be changed.
The lamp has had 1900–1999 hours of use and
needs to be changed.
When the lamp has had 2,000 hours of use or
more, the message flashes, and the system turns
off after 5 minutes.
