Uploading HTML files

You can create customized HTML pages for the SMX to display. The HTML Files List window
(see figure 43) provides a way to view the contents of the SMX file system and to upload
custom HTML pages to the SMX.

Upload HTML pages as follows:
NOTES: • The files listed in the figure 43 are shown for example only and may not be
present on your switcher.
• The HTML Files List window is for inserting your own HTML pages. This is not
the window to replace the firmware that controls all switcher operation. To

Connect the PC to the SMX via the switcher RS-232/RS-422 port or Ethernet port.
2. Start the SMX Control Program and connect to the SMX (see
page 62 for the procedure).

Navigate to the folder where you saved the HTML files. Select the files.

for that file name when first connecting to it using an Internet browser.
