Note:
The User, Password and MediaRacer® IP fields are used to define the parameters required
for establis hing a connection to the unit FTP server.
When you have set the parameters, define the activity required to be performed on the file.
The available options are:
? Get – Read (load) a file from the MediaRacer® 100 unit to the computer
(manager) to a location defined in the Local File Name field.
? Put – Write the file defined in the Local File Name to the MediaRacer®
1000 unit.
? Edit Local File – Using Editor, open the file defined in the Local File
Name field for updating of parameters as required. The Editor is Microsoft
Notepad editor, which enables the editing of text files.
Clicking the appropriate button - Get, Put or Edit Local File - on the right-hand side of
the Remote Configuration Window, selects the required option.
Clicking Cancel (the fourth button in the row) closes the Remote Configuration Tool.
To update the configuration of the MediaRacer® 100 unit, after the various parameters
have been set, click the Get button (Fig. 5-9).
A new window is opened (Fig. 5-10).

The Progress Window displays the status of the loading activity (in the upper field) and
the rate of the loading progress of the taskman.ini file from the MediaRacer® 100 unit to
your PC (in the lower field). The loading process may be terminated at any time by
clicking Cancel.
