INSTALLATION OF MEDIARACER® LINK MANAGER
Installation of the MediaRacer® Link Manager software package in a personal computer is
the stage that precedes the activation of MediaRacer® Link Manager as a control and
possess management tool for devices connected to the MediaRacer® 100 units.
To install the MediaRacer® Link Manager software in your PC, insert the CD-ROM you
received with the MediaRacer® 100 unit, into your computer. Double-Click the
LINKMANAGER.exe icon, and follow the instructions on each screen of the installation
procedure.
When the initial stages have been completed, the MediaRacer® Link Manager can be
activated. The stage that follows the installation of the MediaRacer® Link Manager is the
connection of the computer to the communications network to which the MediaRacer®
100 Camera Side and MediaRacer® 100 Monitor Side units are connected.
ACTIVATING MEDIARACER® LINK MANAGER
When running the MediaRacer® Link Manager software for the first time the dialog box
in Figure 5.1 – MediaRacer® Link Manager – will be displayed.

Enter the MediaRacer® Camera IP and MediaRacer® Monitor IP in the appropriate fields
(Figure 5-2). Check that the IP addresses of the MediaRacer® 100 units is according to the
local network requirements, as defined in the Network Settings (p. 44).
