The Hyper Terminal application COM port setting should be identical to the setting for the
MediaRacer® 100 unit COM 1.
MEDIARACER® 100 UNIT SETTING
Connect the computer to the MediaRacer® 100 unit via the unit COM 1 (RS232 port),
using the cable supplied with the unit. Disconnect any device attached to the unit via this
port. Remember to reconnect the required device after you have completed the settings of
the MediaRacer® 100 unit.
When the computer has been connected to the MediaRacer® 100 unit and the Hyper
Terminal application is active, reboot the MediaRacer® 100 unit (disconnect the power
cable from the power source and then reconnect it).
During the reboot process, press the space bar to display the "MediaRacer® Service
Software" main menu (Fig 4 -2).
