During the rebooting process press the space bar to start the
service software. When the main menu of the MediaRacer®
Service Software (Fig 4-1) is displayed, the user can change
default values and configure the MediaRacer® 100 unit
according to his own specifications.

Select option 2 from the MediaRacer® Serv ice Software
main menu. In the "IP node address" field define the
IP address of the MediaRacer® 100 unit according to the
local network requirements. Enter appropriate values in the
other two fields according to the local network requirements.
Return to the main Menu by pressing the [Ctrl] + [P] keys.

Select option 1 from the MediaRacer® Service Software
main menu. Change the default value in the "Console
I/O" to Disable if you intend to connect other devices to
the MediaRacer® 100 unit COM 1 port instead of the
computer. Verify that the value in the Boot mode field is
set to Application. If necessary, change values in the other
fields according to your requirements. Return to the Main
Menu by pressing the [ctrl] + [P] keys.

Select option 6 from the MediaRacer® Service Software
main menu to reboot the MediaRacer® 100 unit.
Important: All setting values that have been changed
during the configuration process will be valid only after the
rebooting of the MediaRacer® 100 unit.

Disconnect the computer from the MediaRacer® 100 unit
COM 1. Connect any other device to this port, as necessary.
9.
Use the Management Software - MediaRacer® Link
Manager Softawre (MLM) or MAVIEW - in order to
operate devices that are connected to the MediaRacer® 100
units.
