ONFIGURATION
Definition of advanced configuration settings can be carried out using the Remote
Configuration Tool, which is an integral part of the MedaiRacer Link Manager Software.
The Remote Configuration Tool enables loading and editing of the unit's configuration
file
The advanced configuration file, TASKMAN.ini, is part of the MediaRacer® 100
application software. The file contains all the initialization and setup values required for
the MediaRacer® 100 unit operation. The manufacturer default settings in the file can be
changed in order to configure the MediaRacer® 100 unit according to the site
requirements. The file is in ASCII format and can be modified using any text editor.
The parameters defined in this file include the MediaRacer® 100 unit details (OSD - On
Screen Display, address, etc.), devices connected to the unit inputs (camera or monitor,
etc.), description of the devices, video format and some network parameters.

Chapter 5 - MediaRacer® 100: Operation.

NSTRUCTIONS FOR
1.
Connect a computer with a built -in Hyper Terminal
application to the MediaRacer® 100 unit COM 1 port (RS
232 port). Use the cable supplied with the unit. Disconnect
any device that is attached to the unit via this port.
2.
Verify that the default values for Hyper Terminal Port
setting are as shown in
Fig 4-1.
3.
When the Hyper Terminal application is active, reboot the
MediaRacer® 100 unit (disconnect the power cable from the
power source and immediately reconnect it).
