3.11 LACP Commands

3.11.1 lacp system-priority

The lacp system-priority global configuration command configures the system priority. To reset to default, use the no
form of this command.
Syntax
lacp system-priority value
no lacp system-priority

value — Value of the priority. (Range: 1 - 65535)
Default Configuration
The default system priority value is 1.

There are no user guidelines for this command.
Example
The following example configures the system priority to 120.
Console (config)# lacp system-priority 120

3.11.2 lacp port-priority

The lacp port-priority interface configuration command configures the priority value for physical ports. To reset to default
priority value, use the no form of this command.
Syntax
lacp port-priority value
no lacp port-priority

value — Port priority value. (Range: 1 - 65535)
Default Configuration
The default port priority value is 1.

Interface Configuration (Ethernet) mode
User Guidelines
There are no user guidelines for this command.
Example
The following example configures the priority value for port g8 to 247.
Console (config)# interface ethernet g8
Console (config-if)# lacp port-priority 247

3.11.3 lacp timeout

The lacp timeout interface configuration command assigns an administrative LACP timeout. To reset the default
administrative LACP timeout use the no form of this command.
Syntax
lacp timeout {long | short}
no lacp timeout
