5. Disconnect the following 7 cables from the Main board.
CR motor connector cable: CN13
PF motor connector cable: CN12
ASF motor connector cable: CN11
Printhead FFC: CN8, CN9
HP sensor cable: CN4
PE sensor cable: CN5
6. Remove the printer mechanism from the printer. (Remove the waste drain ink pad
at the same time.)
Be careful not to drop the waste drain ink pad since it is
removed together with the printer mechanism when it is
removed from the printer.
Make sure to connect the cables that were disconnected when the
printer mechanism was removed from the Main board.
Tightening torque for screw
• C.B.S 3x6 F/ZN screw for three screws securing the printer mechanism from
the rear of printer: 9+/-1 kgf.cm
• C.B.P 3x8 F/ZN screw for screw on the throttle: 6+/-1 kgf.cm

4.2.8 Circuit board removal

1. Remove the Housing from the printer. (Refer to Section 4.2.1 "Housing
Removal")
2. Detach the printer panel and Sub Left Panel from the printer. (Refer to Section
4.2.2 "Operation Panel removal")
3. Remove the Waste drain inkpad. (Refer to Section 4.2.6 "Waste drain ink pad unit
removal")
4. Remove the printer mechanism from printer. (Refer to Section 4.2.7 "Printer
mechanism removal")
5. Remove 10 screws to detach the board cover as shown below.
