If this equipment does cause interference with other devices, which can be determined by
turning the equipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference
by one or more of the following measures:
• Reorient or relocate the receiving device
• Increase the separation between the equipment
• Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to which the
other device(s) is connected
• Consult the manufacturer or field service technician for help
The environmental protection use period (EPUP), as defined in PRC SJ/T11363-
2006, for the D.20 RIO hardware assemblies listed in the table below is in
excess of 20 years.

The D.20 RIO Distributed I/O Controller (D.20 RIO) is an intelligent electronic device
designed to communicate with a single D.20 network link of up to 30 peripherals and
distribute the data collected to a D400 over a substation LAN. The D400 can have up to
four D.20 RIO's connected over substation LAN.
The D.20 RIO supports standalone configurations and redundant configurations:
• In a standalone configuration, a D400 can be connected to a maximum of four D.20
RIOs, with each D.20 RIO providing communication with up to 30 peripherals.
