The D.20 Port Status LEDs provide a visual indication of the status for D.20 network ports 1
and 2.

If a pair of LEDs is not lit, it does not indicate a problem, only that the connected device is
not active.
The D.20 RIO includes a built-in HMI (human machine interface). The HMI is your window
into the D.20 RIO. Through the HMI you can monitor and configure your D.20 RIO.
The HMI includes the following components:
Runtime HMI to view and communicate with up to 30 peripherals. Power bar buttons
give access to D.20 RIO display screens and utilities.
Configuration tool to manage configuration settings directly on the D.20 RIO.

CHAPTER 6: USING THE D.20 RIO
Status Description

Solid light when a device is
linked to the Ethernet port.
Flashes when data is being
transmitted or received.
Speed
Solid light when the connection
speed is 100 Mbps, off when the
connection speed is 10 Mbps.
The Ethernet connectors also
provide link and speed
indications through LEDs
embedded in the RJ-45 port.
These LEDs both function in the
same manner as the status
LEDs described above.
Status Description
Receive
Flashes when data is being
received through the port.
Transmit
Flashes when data is being
transmitted through the port.
