Using the Push To Talk (PTT) Feature

Note: The Volume icon in the Navigation bar changes to look like a
vibrating CK61 (
You can use the PTT feature to:
record audio on your CK61.
use your CK61 as a two-way radio.

Recording Audio on Your CK61

You can use the PTT key located on the left side of the CK61 to
automatically record audio on your CK61. What happens when you
press the PTT key depends on whether your CK61 is on or in suspend
mode:
If your CK61 is on:
Press the PTT key to start the Note application in audio note
mode.
Press and hold the PTT key to start the Note application in
audio note mode and start recording. You can record using the
internal microphone or a headset microphone attached to the
CK61 through the audio adapter. To stop recording, release the
PTT button.
If your CK61 is in suspend mode:
Press the PTT key to turn on CK61.
Press and hold the PTT key for about 2 seconds to turn on the
CK61 and start the Note application in audio note mode.
