You can also check the battery status by using the Power application.
To check the battery status
1 Tap Start > Settings > the Systems tab > Power > the Battery tab.
The Power screen appears.

Battery LED
Descriptions
Battery is more than 95% charged and computer is on
a charger.
Battery is low.
Main battery is on charge.
The battery is either out of the computer or the pack
temperature is too hot or too cold to charge.
