PNP/PCI Configuration Option

This option displays a table of items that configures how PnP (Plug
and Play) and PCI expansion cards operate in your system. Both
the ISA and PCI buses on the Mainboard use system IRQs (Inter-
rupt ReQuests) and DMAs (Direct Memory Access). You must set
up the IRQ and DMA assignments correctly through the PnP/PCI
Configurations Setup utility; otherwise, the mainboard will not work
properly. Selecting PnP/PCI Configurations on the main program
screen displays this menu:

PNP OS Installed
Setting this option to Yes allows the PnP OS (instead of BIOS) to as-
sign the system resources such as IRQ and I/O address to the ISA PnP
device. The default setting is No.
Reset Configuration Data

figuration data stored in the BIOS setup is cleared from memory. New
