Starting and Exiting System Diagnostics

There are two procedures for the system diagnostics: The first is using a console (keyboard)
directly connected to the server. The second is using a console on a management PC connected
through the management LAN port (console-less).
The following is the starting up procedure.
1.
Shutdown the OS and power off the server. Unplug the power cord.
2.
Remove all the LAN cables from the server.
3.
Plug in the power cord and power on the server.
IMPORTANT:
Ensure to disconnect LAN cable from the server first before the
system diagnostics is executed. The network may become affected
if the LAN cable remains connected to the server while System
Diagnostics is in operation.
NOTE:
Hard disk drive check writes nothing on the disk.
