Mechanical error (n=í,ýì,ýë, ...)-Call a service person. The printer
does not operate when a message beginning withý ( is displayed. The
total number of pages printed is also indicated.
Controller error (n=í,ýì,ýë, ...)-Call a service person. The printer
does not operate when a message beginning withý ) is displayed. The
total number of pages printed is also indicated.
The virtual mail box area is full. Print out accumulated VMB
data. If the VMB function is being implemented by RAM DISK,
increase the RAM DISK size.
The total amount of data received by the printer exceeds the
printer's internal memory. Try adding more memory (expansion
RAM). Press the CONTINUE key to resume printing. You can abandon
printing by the CANCEL key.
The data transferred to the printer was too complex to print on a
page. Press the CONTINUE key to resume printing. (The page may
break in some pages.) You can abandon printing by the CANCEL key.
Note: After this message has been displayed, Page protect
mode will be On. To maintain optimum use of memory dur-
ing printing, displayý!3DJH SURWHFW from the control
panel, and re-selectý$XWR. See the last page in this manual.
Current print processing cannot continue. To print out a error
report, displayý!ý3ULQWý.3'/ýHUUV from the mode select
menu, and selectý2Q. Press the CONTINUE key to resume printing.
You can abandon printing by the CANCEL key.
Install the harddisk unit into the OPT2 slot. This message is dis-
played when the optional harddisk unit is accidentally installed
into the OPT1 slot. Be sure to install the harddisk unit in the OPT2
slot. Be sure to turn off the printer's power before removing the
incorrectly installed harddisk.
